Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Pillar Studios ("Pillar," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Services, invoking a bot command, linking accounts, using a Pillar Roblox experience, or using an administration tool, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be permitted to use Discord, Roblox, and the Services under the rules and minimum-age requirements that apply to you. If applicable law requires a parent or guardian's permission, you represent that you have it. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Services and platform relationships
The "Services" include Pillar's website, Discord applications and bot features, Roblox account verification, Roblox group or game-pass based entitlements, role and nickname synchronization, Pillar Roblox experiences, support, and related administration systems.
Your use of Discord remains subject to Discord's terms, policies, and community rules. Your use of Roblox remains subject to Roblox's Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Community Standards, and other applicable platform rules. Platform rules control your relationship with the applicable platform.

Accounts, verification, and entitlements
You are responsible for the security and accuracy of the Discord and Roblox accounts you use. Do not link an account you do not own or control, impersonate another person, evade a restriction, or provide misleading information.
Verification links one Discord account to one Roblox account for Pillar functionality. Roles, nicknames, access, or in-experience benefits may be based on the linked identity, Roblox group membership or rank, game-pass ownership, server configuration, and platform availability. These results can change when the underlying facts or administrator configuration changes. Verification does not establish legal identity or ownership outside the Services.

Acceptable use
You may not use or attempt to use the Services to:
- violate law or Discord, Roblox, or community rules;
- harass, threaten, exploit, deceive, or impersonate another person;
- bypass bans, verification controls, permissions, rate limits, or security measures;
- probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to systems or data;
- automate requests abusively, manipulate entitlements, or submit fraudulent proof;
- collect credentials, tokens, personal information, or content without authorization; or
- use the Services to infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

Discord server administration
Server administrators are responsible for obtaining any notices or permissions required for their server, selecting appropriate roles and channels, reviewing hierarchy and bot permissions, and confirming that their configuration complies with law and platform rules. An administrator may configure only a server where Pillar verifies their current authority.
Configuration changes can assign or remove roles, modify nicknames, or publish a verification message when an administrator explicitly requests the action. Administrators must review changes before saving or publishing them and must not use Pillar to discriminate unlawfully or to make decisions about employment, housing, credit, insurance, healthcare, or other high-impact matters.

Safety, restrictions, and enforcement
We may investigate suspected misuse and warn, limit, suspend, or terminate access to some or all Services when reasonably necessary to protect users, Pillar, the platforms, or third parties; enforce these Terms or community rules; prevent fraud or ban evasion; comply with law; or address technical or security risk. A Discord or Roblox server may also impose its own moderation decisions independently of Pillar.
To preserve an active restriction and prevent repeat abuse, Pillar may retain a limited enforcement record—such as relevant platform identifiers, the action, reason category, timestamps, and necessary evidence references—for only as long as reasonably necessary and permitted by applicable law and platform rules. We do not claim a right to retain unrelated account data indefinitely. Retention and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy.
You may request a review by contacting us. We may withhold information where disclosure would compromise another person's safety, an investigation, system security, confidential information, or a legal obligation.

Content and intellectual property
Pillar and its licensors retain their rights in the Services, software, designs, branding, and original content. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for their intended purpose.
You retain rights in content you submit. You grant Pillar only the limited permission needed to host, process, display, and transmit that content to provide, secure, and support the requested feature. You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit it. Do not submit sensitive personal information through bot commands or support channels unless we expressly request it through a secure method.

Availability and changes
We may maintain, modify, add, remove, or discontinue features. Discord, Roblox, network, hosting, or third-party outages may interrupt the Services. We do not guarantee that every role, entitlement, verification, nickname, experience, or administration function will always be available or error-free.
We may update these Terms when the Services, platform requirements, or law changes. Material updates will be identified by a new effective date and, where reasonably required, additional notice. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of uninterrupted operation, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pillar and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, access, profits, opportunities, or goodwill arising from the Services. Pillar's aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Pillar for the applicable Service during the twelve months before the claim or USD $100. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

General terms
If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer these Terms as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or transfer of the Services, subject to applicable law.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement concerning the Services unless a separate written agreement applies. Mandatory consumer protections and other non-waivable rights in your jurisdiction remain unaffected.
